Danielle’s Page

A view of Grant Park in Forres.

Hi! My name is Danielle. I was born in Inverness, Scotland, on 15th October 1986 and I have the memory of a sieve. I used to live in a town called Forres, where I lived until I was 11, then we moved to Washingborough, Lincolnshire, England. In Scotland, I went to a school called Anderson’s Primary School, it was a good school, but the last two years there was not good at all. I had lots of friends, until one girl came and she became my best friend. I dropped all my friends, after that we become worst enemies The only friend I really had left was a girl called Lisa Paton, she’s a really nice girl once you get to know her, the only thing is that you sometimes couldn’t understand her , because she speaks with a strong Scottish accent. After I finished school in Scotland, we moved down to where we are now. I’ve started in a secondary school called Branston Community College. I seem to be doing better in subjects like Science, Maths, English (sort of) and German. Only, in French I start thinking in german, but in German I end up thinking in english! I just can't win. I usually bike in to school, it's about 1-2 miles away from our house.
When we moved down here, I made a small group of new friends and you can see some of them on the 'trip to France' page. My friends are Bev Andrews, she can't spell my name. She just puts Dani, but I don't mind. Also she's very bossy and likes to yell at people. Nicola 'Nics' Lord, she has an overactive imagination and is always starts writing stories but rarely finishes them. She loves F1 and likes reading Point Horror and Point Fantasy. Rachel Pike, who also loves F1 and is bonkers about Micheal Scheumacher. Rachel and Bev aren't exactly the best of friends. Lucy Rodgers is one of the few in my year who are older than me. Carl Harris is nice enough but seems to like hanging around with some of us girls. Brian Winstanley is three days younger than me and is a huge swot that lives across the road from me. Him and Rachel are always at each others throats! When I told him that our washing machine blew up, he said it was a pity it wasn't Rachel's head! Also Brian ripped up a Christmas card that Rachel sent him! Very nice, isn't he?!
In 1997 we went to America! It was brilliant, apart from the bit when I began to feel sick (not that I'm going to say anything about it of course). My mum has been three times and my Dad has been about a thousand times. Mum has the travel bug even more than before. We went to Italy twice in 2000, once on holiday, and once to stay for a weekend with my Dad, who was working there. I've got a nice new purple bike and a mini stereo system. Below you can see me sitting on Roseberry Topping in the N. Yorks Moors. By my feet is a hundred foot sheer drop!

You can mail me via my parents e-mail.
