CANADA

A place noted for being a mixture of the most boring and the most interesting. Most Canadians detest the Americans, but there are great similarities between the 2 countries.

Bellville:- Fairly typical small american town. Reasonable mall, bars and nude lapdance club, the Boo Club. Closest town of worth to Trenton. It is about 1.5 hours by car down the motorway to Toronto. Go to Niagara Falls for a day out.

Goose Bay:- Staging airbase in the middle of nowhere. Main population is midges that bite like hell. Avoid at all costs but if stuck there get invited into the German bar. Often so cold no-one is allowed outdoors.

Grand Falls:- Quiet little town just above the top of Maine. Nice ice sculptures in winter but generally best avoided.

Greenwood:- One of the prettier areas of E Canada, the Aurora base does not match a US one for facilities but the hospitality is excellent. Go out of the gate & turn left for shops/fast food in walking distance.

Niagara Falls:- A fantastic fall of truly awesome power. Be sure to do the walk behind the water sheet. Parks around the fall very nice. Take your passport to go to USA, and NATO travel order will save you the fee the spams charge to get into their country. Near the bridge is a street going uphill into Canada full of kids type tourist attractions. Take a trip on the boat to the bottom of the falls. Expect long queues in summer. Well worth the 4 hour drive from Trenton/Bellville.

Ottawa:- A fantastic city with the best quality to price ratio table dance clubs I’ve seen anywhere. Superb architecture and restaurants as well. On a boring afternoon go to the IMAX theatre. There is some really good skiing about 40 miles N of town.

Trenton:- Modern airbase on N shore of L Ontario, 2 hours motorway drive from Toronto. Canada's main military transport aircraft base.
