INDIA

All I did was a stopover in Madras but from this I was able to deduce the following:- India is a sort of closed off time-warp society. All the vehicles are Indian made and at least 20 years out of date. The same goes for pretty much everything else. People have a very low value. Health standards are very low and wages are obviously minuscule. Madras airport uses men posted under sunshades all along the runway to scare off birds. I’ve never been any where else where this job was not done by one man in a vehicle. The airfield equipment and services are minimal and run down. However the people all seemed happy with their lot, and to see us.
Mikes tip:- Stay longer than I did! Fly over it when it is not completely covered by cloud from coast to coast.
